Shaiva temple

சுமார் 1000 ஆண்டுகள் பழமையான திருக்கோவில். இராஜராஜ சோழனின் மூதாதையரான முதலாம் பராந்தக சோழன் (பொ.ஊ. 907-950) கட்டிய திருக்கோவில்களில் திரு நனிபள்ளி நற்றுணையப்பர் கோவிலும் ஒன்று. பொ.ஊ. 10ம் நூற்றாண்டை சேர்ந்த கோவிலாகும். கருவறையின் உள்ளே யானை சென்று வழிபாடு நடத்திய திருத்தலமாகும். யானை சென்று வழிபடும் அளவு கருவறையை உருவாக்குவது சோழனின் பார்போற்றும் கட்டிடகலை சிறப்பாகும். *கோவிலின் சுற்றுப்புற சுவற்றில் கோவிலை கட்டிய பராந்தக சோழனின் சிலை பொதியப்பட்டுள்ளது.
